Back again! All is well in the hot Carrabien, we have had lots of rain, lots! Its poured green monkeys for weeks and the childrens school has closed on several occasions, the roads have been washed away and are now full of deep pot holes! Thank goodness to be driving a 4WD. I love that car. Now the december winds have come and its so refreshing to be able to "breathe" again.
November has been booked full with children parties - why is everyones birthday in november?
Tessa had a halloween party which was fun for us all.

Resuscitation
oh dear it has been months since my last confession, eh, I mean bloggsion. thinking of shutting down the whole thing but maybe one more time resuscitate it. Sitting at home getting closer in my mindset to study my grafic design online course, just a few more excuses before i get there (some emails, some swedish web tv, read the news and catch up on a few blogg reads and a cup-a-coffee) then I have to shape up and get cracking. Im really enjoying my studies on grafic design and its just what I would like to do for a living, but do I stand a chance among all those mighty designers out there? Will not think of that now but keep learning and enroll to step 2 of this course or maybe start at Bergs School of Design after the summer. Speaking of summer I can hardly wait to go to Sweden again for our yearly visit, my girls are even more eager and little Tess can break out in croc tears everytime she thinks of mormor and sweden, poor little one! Well only 6 weeks to go and count down has once again begun.
Island fever cure
This must be a the deadest blogg ever!
Now its midmay and all sorts of things have been going on and happening but not worthy of any blogging except maybe that I went to Peurto Rico, San Juan for some good shopping with my friend.

Whats going on?
A blogg of whats going on, whats hot and whats not - right here in Barbados so I don't miss all the events and on-goings is what I need. Then get out there and enjoy life on the island a bit more than I do now. Well might as well add some events myself ...
So lets see what is going on now and soon that I would want to see. First this year I want to go to the Hole Town Festival and see some street life and carnivals. The main carnival - the Crop Over held in the summer, I will always miss as I am home in Sweden then. I'm sure Hole Town festival held 17 - 24 Febuary http://www.holetownfestivalbarbados.com/ will compensate just fine!
Holders Festival with another great program this year is a must do http://www.holders.net/. So far I have booked in the "Calling all Kids" event for the family. During this time we have two sets of guests so it could be an idea to take them to an event or two.
A really nice place to go for a lunch is the new (I think) restuarant called Acee Tree. Nice interior, tasty rotis and curries and FRIENDLY staff! Wish I could get around to more restuarants on the island, there are sooo many places that seem good. Will try harder.
Good blogg I saw recently gives a tips of nice places to try out http://barbadosrestaurants.blogspot.com/
